In-Course Student Work Published by Other Media 2014 (February): Fourth-year BJH student Braeden Jones sold a print variation of his TV Workshop (JOUR 4858/5858) report on the lack of diversity in a Department bartending school of Agriculture calendar to the Chronicle Herald 2014 (February): The Chronicle Herald published second-year student Michelle Presse's story about a frozen yogurt firm in trouble for a photo posted on Instagram. The story started as an optional assignment in JOUR 2001 2014 (February): The Coast 's cover story was BJ student Ariane Hanlon's feature about the owner and culture of Nova Scotia's only strip club. The story began as her major project in JOUR 4950/5950, the Creative Nonfiction Workshop 2014 (February): The Coast published BJ student Beth Brown's feature on the challenges of nursing students bartending school having facial tattoos. The story was originally published as part of the Online Workshop (JOUR 4857/5857). 2013 (July): CBC published MJ student Martha Troian's investigative feature Warehousing indigenous women 2013 (April): Huffington Post Canada published MJ student Melissa Mancini's series of investigative features on federal cuts to the sciences.
